Metry and EVORA Global join forces
EVORA Global acquires all shares in Metry AB. The Metry founders reinvest their shares together with, among others, Fairpoint Capital, Chalmers Ventures and SEB Green Tech. The merger is set to accelerate the real asset industry's green transition in the Nordics, Europe, and the US.
Metry, Europe’s largest platform for collecting energy and sustainability data, is now part of EVORA Global, a leading provider of tech-enabled sustainability solutions to the real asset investment industry. Together, the companies will offer top-tier data collection, sustainability reporting, and strategic services for SFDR, CSRD, TCFD, GRESB, and other ESG frameworks.
Metry’s vision has been clear from the start: to pave the way for the real estate industry’s green transition, one data point at a time. The merger with EVORA is an important step towards this goal, which, among other things, opens up for new growth outside the Nordic domestic market, mainly in Europe and the US. It also enables further development and refinement of Metry’s existing collection of energy and sustainability data; the range of connected data sources and collection methods will increase significantly, with an expanded geographic reach and a diversification of supported data types.
“We are thrilled to welcome Metry into the EVORA family,” said Pradeep Menon, EVORA Global CEO. “This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone in our journey to empower real asset investors with the tools and data needed to drive sustainable practices in the built environment. It will enable us to offer unparalleled services to our clients, solving for the climate challenge”.
“This is the perfect match.”, said Magnus Hornef, Metry CEO and co-founder who will be joining Evora ExCo as Chief Data Officer. “We are enabling each other to make bigger impact faster and I’m really excited about expanding our data collection capabilities to all EVORA’s customers. It is a giant leap towards connecting every building with reliable data and automated collection.”
